About every other week the members of the Clinchfield Senior Adult Center enjoy a trip to Johnson City for some fun bowling and a nice meal afterwards. All of the members have a great time cheering for each other and sometimes the competition is intense. There are a handful of bowlers who stand apart and often have scores with several strikes and spares. They like to boast about who had the best games but it is all done with a friendly smile. After bowling is over local restaurants like Golden Coral, Fazoli's, the Cafe Court at the mall, and many others get to host our group for lunch. Normally the group is around 15 people. The Center would like to invite you to join the next bowling activity and all of the activities at the center. If you are not sure what those events are be sure to visit the Event page of the website.

Do you know Marian Conquest? If the answer is yes you're a blessed person. If you're answer is no you can meet her in the Erwin Record this week. Marian is a very active member of the CSAC family and participates in just about every activity the center offers. She loved people, dancing, playing cards and just having a great time. Recently, the center attended the talent show at UCHS. At the end of the show there was a big musical finish with students dancing in front of the stage. Marian, as was predicted by other members there, couldn't help herself. She jumped up and started dancing and the students erupted in cheers. Many of them said that her participation made the event. Marian is just one of so many wonderful members who are a part of the CSAC family. We invite you to stop by, take a tour, and if your above the age of 50 we would like you to join our family.
