Whether you need it for baking or even a snack mix, we offer a small variety of pecans and walnuts here at the Senior Center. We sell 1 lb bags of nuts from Stuckeys that we keep frozen throughout the year. Sales are part of our fundraising to keep our doors open for our members and all contributions are appreciated! The Senior Center will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner for all our members on Tuesday, November 21 at 11am. All of our members are able to attend, but you are welcome to bring a side dish or dessert for that day. If you wish to bring something, come by the Center or call the front desk to sign up for what you would prefer to provide! We are looking forward to spending time together with our members and taking time to give thanks. We hope to see you there!
We are excited to host this special meal for our veterans as a way to serve them and say a heartfelt "thank you" for their service. This meal will take place here at the Senior Center on Tuesday, November 14th at 11am. If you are a veteran or a widow or widower of a veteran, we ask that you come by or call the Center to sign up to be a part of that meal so we can serve you! Later at 12:30, the Veterans Food Truck from Second Harvest will be here to distribute food boxes that same day. We are so thankful for our veterans and their willingness to protect and serve our country!
