This month on Saturday, June 15th from 6-9pm, the Buffalo Valley Historic Association is hosting a prom for seniors at the Senior Center. We are honored to be the venue for this special occasion in order to give those in our community the opportunity to dress up, dance, and enjoy a wonderful evening. Dress attire is semi-formal/formal and tickets are on sale for $10/person or $15/couple. Tickets can be purchased from the Senior Center office or from anyone representing the Buffalo Valley Historic Association. We wish that everyone in attendance has a wonderful evening that truly is a night to remember!

On April 1st from 8am-11am, we will be hosting an 8-ball tournament in our newly-renovated Billiards Room. It has been over 20 years since we have been able to put a tournament together, and we are so excited to bring it back! We will have experienced judges, light refreshments, and cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 to the first, second, and third place winners! To be a part of the tournament, we ask that you first be a member of the Center and sign up by March 28th so a bracket can be put together. If you have never been a part of the Senior Center, this would be the perfect time to join! Beyond the tournament, the Billiards Room has been filled every day with a group of both men and women to work on their game and enjoy each other’s company. We hope that you will find some interest in joining the Center and this year’s tournament!
The Clinchfield Senior Adult Center is now accepting members
of the Renew Active program from United Healthcare along with the OnePass and Aaptive programs. If you bring in your insurance or U card, we can find out if you are eligible for a free membership just for being a part of United Healthcare programming. Come by the Center if you would like to find out about your membership and how the Center can benefit you through your fitness journey! New classes like Drums Alive are being offered through our partnership with the UT Extension, and the fitness center is always open during normal operating hours. We would love to see you here!
